Terms of Service — Paulie Paulie
These terms are the agreement between you and JQIT Pty Ltd (ABN 30 609 039 732) for playing Paulie Paulie. By playing, you agree to them.
Who can play
Anyone can play as a guest. You must be 13 or older, or the higher digital-consent age where you live, to create a verified account. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.
We ask for your date of birth before you create an account, and we check it against the minimum age that applies where you are connecting from. If it does not meet that minimum, we will not create an account and you cannot buy anything. Guest play is unaffected. We do not keep the date itself, only the result of the check. See the Privacy notice for what that means in practice.
Your account
Guest play needs no account. A verified account is keyed to your email address and exists so your character follows you between devices. Keep access to that email address secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at support@pauliepaulie.com if you think someone else has used your account.
One person, one account. Creating accounts in bulk, automating account creation, or evading a suspension are all grounds for us to close the accounts involved.
Fair play & conduct
Play the game as it is meant to be played. Do not:
- cheat, exploit bugs for advantage, or use bots, macros or modified clients;
- interfere with the service by attacking it, scraping it, or overloading it;
- harass other players, or use a display name that is abusive, impersonating or unlawful;
- attempt to buy, sell or trade accounts or virtual items outside the game.
We may remove content, reset a name, suspend or close an account for breaches. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
Virtual items & entitlements
Purchases unlock entitlements: cosmetic items and features inside the game. They are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them in Paulie Paulie, not property you own, and they have no cash value outside the game. They cannot be sold, traded or transferred between accounts.
Refunds are covered separately in the Refund Policy, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Our content
The game, its code, art, characters, music and name are ours or our licensors'. You may capture and share screenshots and video of your own play, including on monetised channels, provided you do not claim the game as your own work. Everything else needs our written permission.
Availability
Paulie Paulie is an online game under active development. Features change, servers need maintenance, and we may add, alter or retire parts of the game. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may end the service. If we do, we will give reasonable notice on this site.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. To the extent we may lawfully do so, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the game is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of game progress beyond restoring it where we reasonably can.
Ending it
You can stop playing at any time and delete your account and data. See Delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
