Refund Policy — Paulie Paulie
This policy covers purchases made in Paulie Paulie, published by JQIT Pty Ltd (ABN 30 609 039 732).
Your Australian Consumer Law rights come first
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a purchase is faulty, is not as described, or does not do what we said it would. For a major failure you may choose a refund. These rights cannot be excluded, and they apply regardless of anything else on this page.
Change of mind
Virtual items are delivered to your account immediately, so we are not obliged to refund a change of mind. In practice we would rather you enjoyed the game than felt stuck with something: contact us within 14 days of the purchase, with the item unused where that is meaningful, and we will consider it.
Where you bought it decides who refunds it
- On the web: purchases are handled by our payment provider as merchant of record, which means they are the seller for the transaction and the refund is issued through them. Ask us and we will start it; you do not need to chase them yourself.
- Google Play or the Apple App Store: those stores are the merchant, and their own refund processes and windows apply. Request the refund through the store; we cannot issue it on their behalf. If the store declines and you believe the purchase was faulty, come back to us.
What happens to the item
A refunded purchase has its entitlement removed from your account, and the cosmetic or feature it unlocked stops being available. That is automatic and applies to store refunds too, so a refund granted by Google or Apple will also remove the item here.
How to ask
Email support@pauliepaulie.com with the account email you purchased under, roughly when you bought it, what you bought, and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
If we cannot resolve it, you can contact consumer protection in your state or territory, or the ACCC at accc.gov.au.
Note on availability
In-game purchases on the web are not live yet. This policy is published in advance so the terms are visible before anyone can spend anything, not written after the first complaint.
